Since interning at the Dutch section of Amnesty International, on the project of immigration detention in the Netherlands, I have been grasped by the topic of immigration detention and its related themes. I am especially interested in repeated immigration detention and legal limbo situations. After considering these topics from a purely legal point of view while finalizing a LLM in Public International Law, I am now exploring these themes from a theoretical sociolegal perspective as a master student at the International Institute for the Sociology of Law in Oñati.
